Gujarat Government had informed to appoint assistant teacher at fixed salary to school in 1999. Later on government had decided to pay Rs. 3500/- instead of Rs. 4000/- in February 2006. From February 2006 till today assistant teacher had been paid Rs. 4000/-.

Recently this issue came to knowledge of education department. In turn education department had immediately informed all schools by Circular to recollect paid additional salary.

If principal fails to do so, all additional salary paid to assistant teacher of their school will be recovered from their salary. Principals has to submit all collected amount to D.E.O. Office.
